Job Description:


•Monitor and document website activity, traffic trends, user acquisition/marketing metrics
•Review industry information in the topic set
•Continuously monitor and document user searching and user behavior within the assigned topic set and make suggestions to improve search functionality and navigation
•Conceptualize and execute link building campaigns
•Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative websites for link building
•Actively support and participate in our social media strategy, including awareness and buzz generation on social networks, discussion boards, blogs and other influencer groups
•Promote specific content pieces in the topic set to acquire website links from around the internet and to induce mentions of editorial or the brand across the Internet
Qualifications:

•2+ years of demonstrable SEO experience – optimizing content and website architecture, link building and keyword research
•Demonstrated ability and interest in using blogs and other social media platforms to build and engage audiences
•An advanced understanding of the internet, website technology, HTML, URLs, search engines, search engine marketing, general online marketing, social websites, and popular online social networks
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write business and/or technical documentation
•A working knowledge of generic business software (ex: MS Office Suite)
•Experience with online marketing and promotion preferred
•College degree required
