J2EE Web Application Developer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements, design solution architecture and implement web solutions using client’s proven solution development processes
• Communicate and interact with Project Managers locally and abroad – communicate issues, concerns, and progress reports using Word or PowerPoint
• Research and learn new technologies and apply the knowledge quickly

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required technical skills: Database design and management, Basic Graphics, JavaScript, J2EE, CSS
• Required language skills: Comfortable with oral and written English communications
• At least 2 years experience in J2EE and multiple environments, i.e., architecting web application product components and integrating design solutions in cross-platform and multiple browser environments
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs experience in developing web applications using CGI, Java, Servlets, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, and Object oriented programming
• Experience in working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS Access)
• Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills – works well as an independent developer as well as in a team environment
• Proven ability to develop and document work processes, architecture, and implementation and test plans
• Must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, delivery-oriented environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities and needs
• Must be able to identify problems and take the lead in resolving issues independently
• Additional skills in XML, Dynamic Web Application Technologies, Cold Fusion and User Interface design a definite PLUS
• Experience with Oracle Weblogic is a PLUS.
• Experience with developing iPhone/iPad Applications is a PLUS.
• Experience with Solaris Unix is a PLUS
• Can work on flexible hours
• Able to start work ASAP is a big advantage.
