Senior Buyer

Basic:
• Licensed Engineer or college graduate with business degree
• At least 5 years experience in sourcing and purchasing of raw materials
• Excellent vendor relationship management skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Customer oriented
• Has a “can do” attitude with proficiency in logistics and negotiation skills
• Experience in networking with transport services i.e trucking services, haulers, shipping lines, etc.
• Willing to visit shipyards, warehouses, haulers, etc.

• Creative thinker: can think of ways to mobilize haulers and shipping lines and manage their transport of materials to meet delivery deadlines
• Highly analytical: Can devise route plan to reduce truck turn around time.
• Safety mindset

• Willing to travel to plant locations within the country.
