College degree in the field of Journalism, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media, or equivalent. Fluent in written and spoken English and Pilipino
Very good technical writing skills and creative thinking
With experience in public relations exposure (writing releases, liaising with media, etc.).
Has exposure in writing for internal/external publications and facilitating corporate events.
Preferably with knowledge of the Philippine Industrial Relations/workers’ rights
Has knowledge on web content management and administration
Passionate, patient and willing to persevere in the struggle for workers’ rights and able to work long hours under pressure if required.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:
The Publications Officer will be the principal source of information about the organization and its programs; producing (writing, editing, distributing) of Journal; and coordinating the organization’s media relations programs.
